One of the aims of the founder Kabir Bhogilal’s life is to help children with Dyslexia.

He was inspired to work in this field in 2014 for the main purpose of helping children with Learning Difficulties. Kabir, who has been supported by a lot of people in his life for his abilities not his educational background, put together a slogan for the company, ‘Every Child Has a Unique Ability’.

Kabir Bhogilal has been the driving force of Unique Ability Consulting. He has been able to spread the knowledge on the issues with living with Dyslexia. He has found new technologies to help with reading, which are not currently used within the Indian education system at the moment. His passion for spreading awareness about Living with Dyslexia and Assistive Technology has been inspirational to all who have had the opportunity to interact with him.

Over the years Unique Ability Consulting has joined hands and teamed up with associations like - Maharashtra Dyslexia Association, British Dyslexia Association (for knowledge sharing), Goa Dyslexia Association, ACCTS (Autism Children’s Centre for Therapy and Schooling) Pune. They are also working in India with Claro Read Software & Scanning Pens Ltd., both from the UK.

UAC also works with families, supporting parents and children who need to be guided and to learn about the aspects of living with Dyslexia, which he feels, is very important. As a Dyslexic himself, he is able to guide and share his views that are true to his life and hopefully that will help others to understand the intricacies of Dyslexia that people may not know about.

Company’s Mission:

With the knowledge that Kabir has accumulated over the years, he feels it is time to make people in India aware about Specific Learning Difficulties – and how a child can overcome them if nurtured correctly.

It takes a conscious investment of one’s time, a significant challenge for most people, but avoiding the struggle will only put the child and parent through unnecessary hardship and discomfort. Convince parents and teachers that apathy and time pressures are normal hurdles which can be overcome. UAC want to demonstrate to parents, teachers, and others in the child’s sphere of influence, that every child has a unique ability.

It is very easy to destroy a child’s self-confidence and it requires a lifetime’s support, encouragement and training to build it back. It takes time – which many people are not willing to invest, and the lack of initiative to do so will put the child through unwarranted discomfort.

Leveraging his own personal experiences and personal mentors to work with, and build, an ongoing support infrastructure to deal with Dyslexia as a Learning Difficulties, and not as a life disability.

Kabir believes that Every Child Has A Unique Ability, therefore every contribution that he makes to help children recognise their ability to grow and achieve their potential, makes his and UAC overall goal very meaningful.
